- HAND WASH ONLY, 
Do not leave the olive wood utensils soak in water or exposed to sunshine, it is also better to dry them with a towel after washing. Once a month or so, rub in a little mineral oil (food grade) with a soft cloth, to prevent the wood from drying out, it will bring the grain back to life. Since mineral oil is expensive, you can use sunflower oil, or warm olive oil.
