APPLICATION DOMAIN :
Fixing of water pump bearings, gearbox bearings, splined transmission shafts, bronze bushings, agricultural equipment, public works, marine, etc.
MANUAL :
Assembly:
Use on clean surfaces free of grease, use a degreasing solvent then dry perfectly.
In the case of passive materials or if the cure rate is too slow, spray the activator and allow to dry before applying the adhesive.
Assembly with clearance:
Apply the adhesive around the axis at the leading edge and on the inside diameter of the ring and make a slight rotating movement during installation.
Tight assembly:
Apply the adhesive carefully to both surfaces and assemble with a high press-in speed.
Shrink connections:
The adhesive is applied to the axis or shaft, the ring will be heated in order to have sufficient play to freely assemble the parts.
Avoid moving parts until sufficient strength for handling has been achieved.
Disassembly:
Heat the assembly locally to around 250 ° C. Disassemble while hot.
Cleaning the adhesive:
Polymerized product can be removed by immersing the part in a suitable solvent and scrubbing with a wire brush.
