Product description of the reinforcement plate:

The reinforcement plate can be used to protect the mudguards from unexpected stone impact. The reinforcement plate distributes the impact force over the supporting surface of the fender, carrying the reinforcement plate. This prevents damage (deformation) on the mudguard. The larger the outline of the connection parts, the better is the distribution and the hold of the fender. The reinforcement plate distributes the impact force likewise as 5-12 screw connections would do (depending on the reinforcement plate size).

Characteristics of the reinforcement plate:

• made of metal sheet of thickness 1,8mm
• cataphoretic painting(up to 500 hours saltwater-safe)
• stainless steel screws
• Nut (with lock) and disc of galvanized steel
• 2.5 to 6 times more protection against impact as bare screw connections
• Due to using a carriage bolt tightening and loosening is simple (with a tool)

Delivery for the reinforcement plate set consists of 2x reinforcement plate 4x(screws (M8), nut (M8) and washer).

The fenders are not 100 % made of rubber, but from our own rubber compound formulation, so it is both elastic and robust.
