This listing is for a performance chip (memcal) package to suit the Holden VS series of cars including Commodore, Calais and Statesman models fitted with the Ecotec 3.8L V6 Engine and an Automatic transmission. The memcal’s being provided here are based on a Turbo Industries Custom Performance tune which should produce about 160kw compared with the standard 147kw.
Increased Performance!
When used in conjunction with a good exhaust system typical power outputs that can be expected is 160kW with increased torque across the rev range. Noticeable performance gains to both acceleration and throttle response are delivered as a result. The results are achieved through the recalibration of both ignition timing and fuel mapping. The automatic transmission shift points have also been altered to increase the willingness of the car to change gears under sudden acceleration.
Easy To Install Yourself!
Replacing the chip is a fairly simple process with the PCM (Computer) located behind the kick panel below the glove box. Detailed installation instructions are provided. Installation typically takes 30 minutes with some basic tools.

When you purchase a tune from us we first discuss what modifications your car has and modify our base tune to best suit your vehicle. This increases performance and reduces the risk of damaging your vehicle.

If you require dyno tuning for increased performance or for a heavily modified vehicle we can provide this for an additional cost. Please Note:
When running these high performance tunes we recommend you try run a minimum of 95 Octane Premium Unleaded and where possible 98 Octane. Although it is safe to run standard 91 Octane unleaded if other alternatives are not available, it is advised that you should avoid heavy acceleration to protect your engine.

Our second hand or refurbished products are offered only with a one month warranty against defects or malfunction.
