All payments made by credit or debit cards are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuing authority. The Orient shall not be liable for any delay or non-delivery resulting from failure or refusal by your payment card issuer to authorise payment to us for any reason.

The Orient UK reserves the right to change any of the products prices without prior notice to any of its customers. All products prices are true at the time orders are placed in the checkout basket and paid. The total costs you will be charged is the price of the product/s at the time of checkout including VAT (when applicable). The costs will also include delivery charges (if any), which will also be calculated at checkout.

All products sold on The Orient shop set out any specific conditions, relating but not limited to, shipping and delivery dates & times and charges. In general, most of the items bought from The Orient enjoy free delivery within the UK. The cost for shipping, if any, will be calculated and displayed on the Checkout page before you complete your order.

Average delivery time varies according to shipping destination. However, items bought and delivered within the UK are usually dispatched same day if ordered before 1:00pm on weekdays and are delivered within 1-2 business days, unless otherwise stated. Subject to availability, you have the right to select the time and speed of delivery service. However, The Orient reserves the right to select the best shipping service provider that meets the customer’s selected delivery speed.

Once the item is dispatched from our warehouse, we'll send a dispatch notification email. This email may include the tracking number and a delivery date when available. You can use the tracking number in order to track your package with the shipping service provider.

Here, at The Orient, we want our customers to be completely happy and satisfied with their purchases from us. However, if you needed to return an item, we are here to help.

• For orders delivered within the UK or internationally, you have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to return the item.
• In order to be eligible for return and refund, items should be unused and are in their original condition and packaging.
• We don’t accept return for any of the following products:
  • Perishable products such as foods
  • Books, CDs & DVDs
  • Health & personal Care Items
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Sale items are not accepted for return & refund

In order to return an order, please send us a return email includes the order number and reason for returning it. After you send the email, please ship the order back to us.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and the credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5 working days.

Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable and restocking fees will apply unless the reason for return was due to a mistake on our part. In such a case, we will issue a full refund including shipping charges.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven't received a refund yet, please check your bank account again or contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is deposited in the bank account. If you still have not received your refund, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
