SE Racing came onto the BMX scene in 1977 when Scot Breithaupt founded Scot Enterprises. The STR-1, now known as the Quadangle was the very first SE BMX bike ever produced followed by the Floval tubed JU-6 and was named the PK Ripper after SE's top racer Perry Kramer when he insisted that the gusset needed to be welded to the top tube junction to increase the strength. The PK Ripper is one of the most famous BMX bikes of all time and the stories from the genesis days of SE are legendary.
