With the Vortex 2X Doubler you can increase the magnification of most Vortex full sized binoculars so that they will now act as a 'scope. This enables you to take in long distance views that you would ordinarily see by using a spotting scope.

The Vortex 2X Doubler quickly and easily fits over the binocular eyecup. The doubler's internal dimensions start at 1.68" (42.7mm) and narrow slightly to 1.63" (41.4mm).

Update!

We have fitted and used the 2X doubler on the Vortex Razor HD 50mm spotting scope with very encouraging results! Fitted, it gives this lightweight travel scope a zoom range of 22-66x instead of the usual 11-33x.
