The popular Stormguard range of dog coats from Ancol have a warm fleece lining to insulate your dog from the cold, a water-proof surface to help keep them dry and a chest protector strap to keep your dog's chest clean and dry if they run through a muddy puddle.
They feature elasticated leg straps, a reflective strip around the edge for increased visibility in low light conditions and all have a short zip down the back from the collar for lead attachment making them fully harness compatible as well as suitable for dogs that have collars as per the previous version.

The Stormguard Range is available in
Navy Blue, Poppy Red, Pink, Chocolate Brown, Black or Hi Vis Yellow
New for 2021 is the Black version of the standard coat and also a Silver Reflective coat where the entire coat is completely reflective to help with night time walks
The coats come sized from X-Small to XX-Large so please measure your dog from the collar to the base of the tail to get the right size, see the picture chart for examples. This measurement is the most important and if your dog is between two sizes then pick the larger size as you can always tuck a bit of the coat back under itself. We have also included the girth measurements so you can measure around the tummy to see if it will be the right fit.
The actual Velcro part of the strap that goes around the tummy is between 10cm (XS) and 23cm (XXL) in length so the smallest & largest girth measurements use about 5cm of the Velcro strip so if your dog is at the smaller end there will be a flap sticking out a short distance (See photo in Gallery)
Small - 30cm (12 inches) long with girth 30-50cm (12"-20")
Small/Medium 35cm (14 inches) long with girth 36-54cm (14"-21")
Medium - 40cm (16 inches) long with girth 34-56cm (14"-22")
Large - 50cm (20 inches) long with girth 50-72cm (20"-28")
X-Large - 60cm (24 inches) long with girth 56-80cm (22"-32")
XX-Large - 70cm (28 inches) long with girth 53cm-92cm (21"-36")
One of our customers has informed us that the XXL size is very suitable for greyhounds, for those owners who aren't having as much luck with specific greyhound coats and I have attached some photos of their two greyhounds in the gallery with the Pink & Blue XXL coats on.
They are all made from heavy duty coated nylon and will keep your dog dry in most situations but if your dog decides to go for a swim in the coat then you will be out of luck as they aren't quite that waterproof.
If you do end up with the wrong size or your dog measures correctly but the coat won't quite fit properly then we are happy to exchange it or refund as long as its within 30 days of receipt of the coat. If you do want to just exchange for another size then please message us first.

RETURNS- We are happy to accept returns or exchange items if you need a different size or colour - as long as the following conditions are met.
- You must inform us that you want to return the item no more than 30 days after receiving your item
- Ensure you send either the original invoice or a returns slip as this is required to process an exchange or refund.
- The item must be returned in its original packing, undamaged, bent or marked
- If returning a dog harness/coat please ensure they are clean and dog hair free
We understand that customers may want to try items on their pets to ensure they fit, this is fine, but please do not remove tags until you are sure you are happy with your purchase.
Items MUST be returned in perfect unused & re-saleable condition
If goods are found to be returned used, misused or damaged, we reserve the right to issue you a partial refund. If a parcel is returned to us undelivered because of failure to collect or rearrange delivery with the post office, a re-delivery charge to the customer will be required before we can resend the item.
The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the item is returned to us. We do not accept responsibility for returned items lost in the post, so please ensure that your item is sent via a tracked service ensuring that the item is returned safely. Postage is non-refundable, we don't pay for return postage if item is being returned for an exchange or because you have decided you no longer wish to keep the item.
