Mary's own unmistakable style. Mary Byrne’s story is the stuff of fairytales. She’s the Tesco supermarket checkout lady who took a chance in life at the age of fifty by auditioning for Britain's biggest TV talent show, the X Factor. She was narrowly beaten to the 2010's X Factor final by One Direction and Matt Cardle but won the hearts of millions and gained many devoted fans with her big heart, powerful voice and genuine personality. Mary has performed for Queen Elizabeth II on her historic state visit to Ireland in 2011 and shared the stage with Neil Diamond to perform to over 55,000 fans at Dublin's Aviva Stadium.
