Der Inhalt des Klebers beträgt 50ml, das sind ca 46 Gramm. Verpackungsbedingt verbleibt Restmaterial in der Tube so dass der Netto - Nutzinhalt nach unserer Erfahrung etwa 42 Gramm sind. Eine Tube reicht beim Auftragen von 3 Schichten Material von der Menge für das Verkleben einer Latex - Halsmanschette bzw. einem Paar Latex - Armmanschetten mit einem Meter Abdecktape aus unserem Hause.

Info zur Halsmanschettengrössenbestimmmung:

Latex - Manschetten an Trockentauchanzügen haben aufgrund bestimmter Umwelteinflüsse aber auch in Abhängigkeit der Lagerungsart eine begrenzte Lebensdauer. Auch Pflegemittel wie Hautcreme verkürzen die Lebensdauer der Manschette erheblich.

Wird die Manschette klebrig oder zeigt eine feine Rissbildung, so steht ein Wechsel der Manschette an.

Wir bieten hier hochwertige Manschette aus europäischer Produktion, lieferbar in 4 Größen welche üblicherweise zur Trockentauchanzugsgröße korrespondieren, an. Wenn Dir die Manschettengröße nicht bekannt ist, so gebe uns alternativ den Halsumfang durch. Materialstärke am Halsbereich ca. 0,75 mm.

Tip:
Neue Manschetten haben recht viel Zug, gerne vor dem ersten Tragen mal eine Nacht über eine kleinen Eimer etc. stülpen und dehnen damit das Material weicher wird. Wird vorher geschnitten so weitet sich die Manschette oftmals nach ein paar Tauchgängen und Wasser kann eindringen.

Welche Größe?
Üblicherweise sind die Manschettengrößen passend zu den Herren - Anzuggrößen. Also Trocki in L, Manschetten in L. Damentrockis normaler Weise eine Nummer kleiner - somit Trocki in L, Manschette in M. Oftmals steht in der Manschette eine Nummer - gerne mal nachsehen.

Halsumfänge von 30 cm bis 45 cm in geht nicht in 4 Größen?
Klar - da muss auch mal ein oder 2 Ringe abgeschnitten werden... Gerne vorher die Manschette 1-2 Tage mittels Pylone oder kleinen Eimer dehnen. Zum schneiden empfehlen wir die Manschette über eine große Pylone zu ziehen und mit einem Cuttermesser (mit neuer Klinge) bei zuschneiden. Einer dreht die Pylone, einer schneidet mit dem Cuttermesser - ohne abzusetzen.

Die Manschettengröße ist gut wenn Du die Manschette angezogen hast; leicht an der Manschette ziehst (das entspricht dem Druck den du sonst durch die Luft im Trocki hast) - und die Manschette eine gute Mittelfingerbreite aufliegt. Das sind ca. 1,5 - 2 cm.

Tip: Oftmals steht in der Manschette eine Nummer - gerne mal nachsehen. Nutze die Größentabelle (unter den Bildern) als Hilfe zur Größenbestimmung und rufe uns gene an wenn Du dir unsicher bist.

Info zur Armmanschettengrössenbestimmmung:

Versandhinweis: Beachte bei deiner Bestellung bitte dass Härter, Kleber und Lösungsmittel nicht über den Luftweg transportiert werden können und sich daher ggf. eine Lieferung in dein Land nicht möglich ist.

Kleine Klebehilfe:
1. Oberflächenvorbehandlung: Die zu verklebenden Flächen müssen sauber, trokken, fett- und ölfrei sein. Klebeflächen mit Reinigungsmittel (z.B. ELASTOSAL® Lösit MEK) abwaschen und abtrocknen lassen. Oberfläche je nach Möglichkeit leicht aufrauhen. Rauhstaub vollständig entfernen.

2. Mischen (nur bei Zugabe des Vernetzers): Mischungsverhältnis: Klebstoff: Vernetzer = 100 : 5 Gewichtsteile Die Gebrauchsdauer des Gemisches (Topfzeit) beträgt mindestens 2 Stunden bei geschlossenem Gebinde.

3. Auftrag und Trocknung: 2-3 Einstriche sind zu empfehlen. Trage eine dünne, gleichmäßige Schicht auf beide zu verklebenden Flächen auf. Den ersten Einstrich gut trocknen lassen (ca. 30 Minuten). Den letzten Einstrich kurz (ca. 5 min bei 21°C) trocknen lassen, dass er beim Fügen noch etwas klebrig ist, jedoch keine Fäden mehr zieht.

4. Fügen: Fügeteile passgenau zusammenlegen und gegeneinander mit kräftigen Kontaktdruck (z.B. mittels Roller oder Hammer) fügen. Dabei ist es wichtig, dass die Klebeflächen vollständigen Kontakt zueinander haben.

5. Und dann? Wir haben einiges ausprobiert und haben die besten Erfahrungen mit ausreichenden Ruhezeiten. Nach dem Kleben lassen wir den Arbeitsbereich z.B. mindestens 12 Stunden ruhen bevor wir den nächsten Schritt machen und z.B. die Armmanschette umdrehen und von innen sealen. Wir warten auch mindestens 24 Stunden bevor wir einen Dichtigkeitstest durchführen; dann geben wir wieder mindestens 12 Stunden Zeit zum Trocknen bevor wir ein gefundenes Leck weiter bearbeiten.

6. Und sonst? Achtung: Die empfohlenen Verarbeitungsbedingungen liegen bei 15 - 25°C und 30 - 65 % relativer Luftfeuchte. Bei extremen Witterungsbedingungen wie Kälte, Regen u.ä. sind am Arbeitsort durch entsprechende Schutzmaßnahmen wie einer zusätzlichen Überdachung, Warmluftzuführung u.a. die notwendigen Verarbeitungsbedingungen zu schaffen.

The content of the adhesive is 50ml, which is approx. 46 grams. Due to the packaging, residual material remains in the tube so that, in our experience, the net usable content is about 42 grams. When applying 3 layers of material, one tube is sufficient for bonding one latex neck cuff or one pair of latex arm cuffs with one meter of our tape.

Info on neck Seal size determination:

Latex cuffs on dry suits have a limited life span due to certain environmental influences but also depending on the type of storage. Care products such as skin cream also shorten the life of the cuff considerably.

If the cuff becomes sticky or shows a fine crack formation, the cuff has to be changed.

We offer here high-quality cuffs from European production, available in 4 sizes which usually correspond to the dry suit size. If you do not know the cuff size, please let us know the neck circumference. Material thickness at the neck area approx. 0.75 mm.

Tip:
New cuffs have quite a lot of tension, like to put them over a small bucket etc. for a night before wearing them for the first time and stretch them to soften the material. If you cut it before, the cuff often expands after a few dives and water can penetrate.

Which size?
Usually the cuff sizes match the men's suit sizes. So Trocki in L, cuffs in L. Lady's skirts usually one size smaller - so Trocki in L, cuff in M. Often there is a number in the cuff - have a look.

We sell hundreds of cuffs a year according to the table, the table fits. Please call us if you are unsure. This is more frustration free ...

Neck circumferences from 30 cm to 45 cm in does not work in 4 sizes?
Sure - you have to cut off one or two rings... Gladly stretch the cuff 1-2 days before by means of pylons or small buckets. To cut the cuff we recommend to pull it over a large pylon and cut it with a cutter knife (with a new blade). One turns the pylons, one cuts with the cutter knife - without taking off.

The cuff size is good when you have put the cuff on; pull slightly on the cuff (this corresponds to the pressure you would otherwise have through the air in the dryer) - and the cuff will fit a good middle finger width. That is about 1.5 - 2 cm.

Tip: Often there is a number in the cuff - have a look. Use the size chart (below the pictures) as an aid to determine the size and call us if you are unsure.

Shipping note: Please note that hardeners, adhesives and solvents cannot be transported by air and therefore delivery to your country may not be possible.

Small bonding aid:
1. surface pre-treatment: The surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free of grease and oil. Wash bonding surfaces with cleaning agent (e.g. ELASTOSAL® Lösit MEK) and allow to dry. If possible, roughen the surface slightly. Remove rough dust completely.

2. mix (only when adding the crosslinker): Mixing ratio: adhesive: crosslinker = 100 : 5 parts by weight The working time of the mixture (pot life) is at least 2 hours when the container is closed.

3. application and drying: 2-3 coats are recommended. Apply a thin, even coat to both surfaces to be bonded. Allow the first coat to dry thoroughly (approx. 30 minutes). Allow the last coat to dry briefly (approx. 5 minutes at 21°C) so that it is still slightly tacky when joining, but no longer stringy.

4. joining: Place the parts to be joined together accurately and join them together with strong contact pressure (e.g. using a roller or hammer). It is important that the bonding surfaces are in full contact with each other.

5 And then? We have tried a few things and have the best experience with sufficient resting times. For example, after bonding, we let the work area rest for at least 12 hours before we take the next step and, for example, turn the arm sleeve over and seal it from the inside. We also wait at least 24 hours before carrying out a leak test; then we again allow at least 12 hours to dry before continuing to work on a leak that has been found.

6. and otherwise? Attention: The recommended processing conditions are 15 - 25°C and 30 - 65 % relative humidity. In extreme weather conditions such as cold, rain, etc., the necessary processing conditions must be created at the work site by means of appropriate protective measures such as an additional roof, warm air supply, etc.  Otherwise, if you are unsure or something doesn't work out, it is better to wait and contact us - we will be happy to help...
