Please note: These tubes may be NOS or test NOS
but will actually have a few hours of use from manufacturer or due from testing
through time to time on them. A truly NOS tube will have excellent getter
flashing condition, no dirt/grime, usually in the original box, and no filament
deposits and has never been tested. Please expect the tube to have a small amount
of used. *
Since vacuum tubes were made 30 – 70 years ago New Old Stock or Used
may have cosmetic evidence of age. This includes poor print,
oxidized pins, faint discoloration, or poorly boxes

Below 55 = BAD 55-65 = ? 66 -85 =
Good 86-120+ = NOS
All Tubes Result = 80+
Talk about this particular tube is very tricky
I have 8 active Hickok tube testers and I check calibration every 3 month and few 30+ testers and I guaranty that none of them are good for testing this 6JC6A or 6JC6
why on the Hickok 6000 or 539C or 800 most Hickok setting is for 6JC6 and not for a 6JC6-A
The 6JC6-A is unilaterally interchangeable with the 6JC6, but has higher plate and screen dissipation rating, and higher transconductance , plate and screen current characteristic.
So this mean that on your tube tester may read 10-15% lower than a NOS tube should be.
I tested all this tubes on a B&K 700 because it has for both 6JC6-A and the 6JC6
Please just take this as a consideration and that best way of testing is in the actual unit.
