This is a set of IDEAL CRAYONS IN ORIGINAL BOX WITH PAPERBOARD TUBE HOLDER, in good condition.  Over 100 years old!

These crayons were made by the Standard Crayon Co.  The box originally had 28 crayons.

The pictures show exactly what you get.  Apparently crayons from this time did not have paper wrappers, but instead included a paperboard tube to slide onto each crayon when used.

These particular crayons belonged to David Silsby from South Lunenburg, Vt. who was born in 1901.  His name is hand written on the back of the box.

These are a true antique and harken back to the school days around the turn of the 20th century.
