OEM GRADE: The Hella 5DV00900000 ballasts are original equipment on many modern BMW, Mercedes, Cadillac, Lincoln, Jag, and VW vehicles that come with factory HID headlights.
UNFORTUNATELY: Headlight ballasts, like most car parts have a rated lifespan and sometimes don't even make it that long. Replacing them outside of warranty is never cheap either! This part usually runs about £250+ from the dealership...ouch!
GOOD AS NEW! This replacement ballast is designed to meet/exceed all OE specifications and will be a direct replacement for the factory unit. It is not OEM but fits and functions identically for a fraction of the price!

If in the title or picture there is any reference to any brand it is simply to indicate that our part is a direct replacement to that in regards to fitment, and does in no way imply that this part is of that brand.
WATER DAMAGE: Please note that 99% of ballasts failure is due to water damage or ingress. Most customers just dry out the lamp and any visible areas but don’t dry out the connectors which plug in to the ballast. Please note the water will have passed that point as it blew the original ballast.
Therefore it is extremely important to dry out the connector or the ballast will fail in a short while.
Water damaged items are not covered under warranty so this is a pre-warning.
Please note: Due to varying regulations for vehicle safety tests, HID kits fitted to some vehicles may not be legal. It is the customers responsibility to check that installing this product is in compliance with test/law regulations.

All items sent back if not faulty must not show any signs of usage and any packaging or boxes need to be free from any marks or damage as need to be sold again.
We cannot cover return postage or would have to raise our prices to incorporate this. Any item being returned must be sent via a recorded service as you will be responsible that it arrives to us, any item not received by us is your responsibility until it arrives.

When returning an item its import to get a receipt and tracking for your return if value is over £10. Make sure you include a note with your ebay id and reason for return including the purchase date. If it is an exchange please put a brief explanation.
