If you vehicle was manufactured in Canada it probably has a TRW brand ABS which looks similar but is different enough it will not work .

Typical problem of a faulty ABS/EBCM is .....ABS Light ON...Brake Light ON. CO 265 code . GM came out with a SERVICE BULLETIN indicating there are reported problems with ABS light because of bad ground straps..make sure this isn't your problem before purchasing ,also wheel speed sensors must be working properly in order for ABS to function correctly .
