DescriptionThis is a set of 4 mid century Russel Wright American Modern chartreuse dinnerware. Included in this lot are two lug handle soup bowls, one gravy boat and one handled serving bowl. The soup bowls are 6 7/8" including the handle, the serving bowl is 9 1/2" including the handles and the gravy boat is 9 1/4". These pieces were made between 1939-1959, the serving bowl is embossed on the bottom Russel Wright Steubenville, the other pieces are unmarked. The condition of these pieces is very good, the serving bowl does have two small chips on the underside of one handle and the gravy boat has one small chip on the end, (see photos). There is crazing on some of the pieces consistent with the age of the dinnerware. These pieces have a great retro look.
