Absolutely stunning and genuine jacket from the 60's. The suede leather is a very dark brown, closeup shots make it look lighter due to the flash. Back in the day, a jacket like this from Creaciones was the HEIGHT of hippie fashion.
Condition: Firstly, the jacket is heavy and substantial and very warm, perfect for fall/ winter weather. We went over it with a flashlight and see no missing fringe... (but there's so MUCH fringe it's possible we missed one??) There is a tiny slice in the leather above the fringe on left chest side-- see photo-- so minor it's almost unnoticeable. The right pocket top edge has lost a few threads which would attach it to the body of the jacket-- again, see photo. A sturdy needle and thread can tack that back on very easily, nothing is torn or damaged. There are a few spots of soil here and there so the suede could use a good brushing. The lining is in excellent condition, we see no rips or tears, and there are no funky smells... yay! There's light fading to the suede nap in a few spots, mostly along seams, but overall the jacket looks fantastic. As it's true vintage, minor flaws only add to it's authenticity.
Additional measurements: Neck to hem (with fringe) 34.5". Circumference around hem approximately 44".
Jacket measures out to a man's medium, possibly a woman's large (but please regard the measurements closely) or a roomy medium. Consider that this style is typically worn open so that gives a bit of flexibility.
