Very nice QUALITY German handpainted Plates!
They are 9-3/8" across and 1-5/8" tall. 
Excellent condition; no chips or cracks. 
Marked on back:

"Reproduction of an 18th Century Japanese Plate

Handpainted by C.C.
C. 1982 C. Coulter"

I have been unable to find any info online about these plates.
Close examination reveals they are slightly different, and handpainted.
The work that went into painting these is substantial!
I have no idea who commissioned these, but they are very interesting.
