Felix Gonzalez-Torres (1957-1996) Original Litho Sheet from artwork "Untitled (NRA) 1991

This poster/litho sheet was originally displayed as a part of the stacked paper artwork entitled "Untitled (NRA)"
at Luhring Augustine Hexler Gallery, Santa Monica, CA, October 19-November 16, 1991. 
This is NOT a reproduction of that piece, but an actual litho that was part of the original piece as displayed,
consisting of a stack of sheets like this one. It was removed from the stack in October, 1991.

The back of the poster is not printed (see pics). Condition is NM/MNT.

Gonzalez-Torres was a Cuban-born American gay visual artist.
Gonzalez-Torres was known for his minimal installations and sculptures 
with a variety of materials including candies, clocks, lightbulbs, and stacks of paper.

Medium: Off-set Litho on heavy paper.
Originally presented edition size: Unknown.

As a reference to valuation, please consider that a Torres "candy-strip"
piece ["Untitled" (LA) 1991] recently sold for approximately $7.7 million.

Please note that I have received some comments about this one...
that is, since it was conceived of as an open edition, there are numerous
ones out there from other exhibitions, and possibly a reissuance from the estate.
That could be true, however, the original litho is a "first" printing;
subsequent printings are of a subtlely diiferent size, color, paper, etc.
This makes the first edition the most coveted, and hence the valuation.
