For sale is an excellent copy of Canon’s legendary FD 85mm f/1.2 L lens. It comes with the correct hood: BT-72

This is one of the best lens I’ve personally used, and is astoundingly sharp and contrasty from f/1.2 - see the last two images for samples taken wide open.

The lens itself is in excellent condition - there is barely a mark on the lens body (one or two minuscule scuffs to the paint are all I can find), the focus ring is buttery smooth and the aperture ring clicks reassuringly. The glass is perfectly clear - no fungus, haze, or dirt. Under intense light I can spot one hairline scratch to the front element, approximately one centimetre in length, but so thin as to be invisible under natural light. The lens is hard to fault for its cosmetic or optical condition.

Comes with front and rear caps, as well as the correct hood, and will be packed and shipped with extreme care.
