New to the restoration market are 12 Fancy Rosette collars or washers for repair of old straight razors. These Rosette collars are meticulously made as replicas of the original Rosette collars made by Cutlers such as Wade & Butcher, Geo Johnson, James Johnson, W. Greaves etc., in Sheffield England circa 1830-1850. These collars are stamped/punched from brass sheet metal; leaves are rounded, and even scored, just like the originals. They are the correct size: ~6mm (.19 in) wide and 1.3mm (.05 in) thick. They provide the finishing touch for that special antique straight razor made in Sheffield or even Solingen. The Rosette collars/washers are available in Brass or Nickel Silver will come unpolished as seen in the first photo but will shine up nicely with little effort using Brasso or other polishing compounds. These Rosette collars are a must have for straight razor restoration enthusiasts. You will receive 12 Rosette Brass collars (or Nickel Silver, if you advise me) that will look similar to those shown in the photos. Included are 12 small stainless steel retaining under washers size #0 that provide the additional strength for the collars. Collars fit 1/16 inch round brass rod (six inches) included with your purchase. No handling fees are charged and free world wide shipping via letter mail. Regret that no tracking number can be provided with letter mail. Check out my other restoration items up for sale including camel bone, other water buffalo horn (dark brown and honey) and replica bullseye, dome, and smaller factory like cup washers in brass, nickel silver and stainless steel.
