WHY BUY A DC WIND TURBINE?
#1. DC PMA's with naturally earth grounded cases are way more lightning strike resilient than their AC counterparts which do not bleed lightning strikes to ground as easy. DC models or also EMP proofed by having the coil-negative going to an earth ground by the default of having a negatively grounded casing, hub, tail bars and the whole tail which is like a large antenna going to earth ground right through the heavy metal mounting pipe.
