Fat Little Wings are an accurate reproduction of the pickups Hendrix used in his Strat from the late ’60s with a slightly over wound bridge pickup. The over wound bridge pickup increases the bass and provides an overall more balanced dynamic response between the three pickups. They are handcrafted with period correct grey/black fiber bobbins, sand cast alnico 5 pole pieces, and plain enamel magnet wire. The middle pickup is reversed for humbucking in the 2 and 4 positions.
