A Squinkie is a cute little 1" tiny toy. It's sold in a round plastic shell: the same kind of shell used for the toys that roll out of fifty-cent vending machines.  Not only do Squinkies look as if they came from a gumball machine, you can actually buy a gumball machine made especially for them! You would then put your Squinkies back inside their plastic shells, put the shells in the gumball machine, and twist the knob to make them roll out one by one. Kids think they are so COOL !
