For auction is a nice piece of carnival glass made by The Fenton Glass Company of Williamstown, West Virginia. The pattern is "Leaf Chain" and the shape is an ice cream shaped bowl. The bowl stands approximately 2 1/4"" tall and is 8" in diameter. The foot has a diameter of 3 3/16".

This lovely green bowl displays the "Leaf Chain" pattern on the interior of the bowl. It is a busy pattern that has a scale background with five open flowers evenly spaced around the bowl. These flowers are adorned by a wreath of leaves around each one and there is an additional one in the center of the bowl. The top border of the pattern is accented with a rope that is looped. There is also a straight rope underneath the looped motif and again at the bottom of the pattern. The back of the bowl displays the Bearded Berry pattern that surrounds the entire exterior. There are vines with leaves and berry clusters that look like raspberries. The bowl rest on a collar base. There is iridescence on the interior of the bowl that show hues of gold, fuchsia and teal.

The bowl is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece is unsigned but guaranteed to be vintage Fenton.

This piece was made circa 1921.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of 2020. I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the merchandise unless it is paid for.

They are also now charging all sellers a commission of 11.7% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.7%. This is an increase of 8.8% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.7% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.

If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
