HO Brass Northern Pacific Heavyweight Coach #624. Factory Painted in 'Pine Tree' Scheme circa 1946 for 'North Coast Ltd.' Service. Produced by Boo-Rim Precision of Korea for W&R Enterprises in 2013

The prototype of this exquisite model was a car repainted in NP's 'Pine Tree' scheme around 1946. Most of NP's passenger fleet was repainted again beginning in 1954 in the 'Loewy' scheme.

This first-rate model features laser-sharp paint and striping as well as state-of-the-art fit and finish. The model has been stored in its original box since purchased new. There are no indications of any previous use. The two black brackets on either end of the model are easily removed. (They are factory-installed to secure the model in its packaging).

This super-scarce model is one of the finest examples of brass passenger cars yet produced.

These W&R NP passenger cars are, in my opinion, the finest brass passenger cars ever imported in HO scale. They feature immaculate paint, operating diaphragms, very fine, free rolling, sprung trucks. They are peerless models. I did check, and this car and other W&R "head end" cars do not have interior lights.

The protective shields over the diaphragms are easily removed with a single screw, and then you can install your favorite type of coupler. I prefer a "long shank" Kadee.

All parts are included.
