Herbs and Plants have a special place within Wiccan and Pagan practices.

The burning of incense has long been believed to attract specific magickal energies, aiding in the charging and direction of personal energy and power.  As incense is burned, it releases fragrant smoke, said to combine with your own personal power to aid in the manifestation of your goal.

Incense is often burned prior to rituals to purify the altar and surrounding area of negative vibrations, aiding concentration and creating the appropriate mental state for a successful ritual. 

This formulation has been used since ancient times for various purposes as follows:

A total of 17 species are used in production. They belong to 12 different families, 4 species in the Cupressaceous family and comprise with shrubs, trees, flowers, minerals, herbs, oils & resins related to the four elements EARTH - FIRE - AIR - WATER + PLANET - MOON - SUN. The parts of the plants used are the leaves , branches, tubers, wood, shoot axes, roots and aerial parts. The species are always used as mixtures and are burned in the form of powders in a censer. The smell of the smoke is the main criterion for the selection of incense plants.

These blends are prepared carefully on a specific day of the month considering time, moon & planetary positions.

How To Burn:

Light a self-igniting charcoal disc. When the disc is glowing, sprinkle a pinch of incense on the block (you only need a little - it goes a long way!). The incense will immediately begin to smoulder and release fragrant smoke.

Note: Charcoal is absolutely essential for burning this kind of incense.

Please note: If you are buying from outside the UK you will need to check with your countries customs to make sure they allow herbs to be imported. Some countries have strict rules and will seize them. Sadly we cannot refund if this is the case so please check before buying!

We post out Monday to Saturday (except Bank Holidays) around 3pm to 6pm, we use Royal Mail second class signed for most of our items. We can only post to the address instructed or given on your ebay account. So please make sure this is correct.
