This particle filter replaces the defective original filter. Only for vehicles that were delivered from the factory with a soot particle filter. Our particle filters are manufactured according to the manufacturer's process and meet the required exhaust gas values. No additional emissions test required. No TÜV registration necessary.
Please note when replacing your diesel particulate filter:
Basically, the manufacturer's specifications for changing the diesel particulate filter must be observed. If the diesel particulate filter is overloaded, the sensors are usually also affected. This can mean that the newly installed diesel particulate filter works in principle, but is overloaded again after a short time. Since the engine control unit receives the wrong data from the sensors, natural regeneration cannot be initiated. It is therefore advisable to replace the differential pressure sensor on the diesel particulate filter and to clean the temperature sensor.
In order to delete the error message in your vehicle, the ash content of the diesel particle filter in the control unit of your vehicle must be set to 0.
