You are looking at a 1960's era Shure Brothers 545 S dynamic cardioid microphone with uber strong output and warm tone. This 545S has been thoroughly cleaned and tested. The signal strength on this old mic is very strong and very clear...100%. Like new and absolutely...no issues and set at LOW Z. This 545 S has distinctive looks and was a radical new design for Shure Brothers when it was first introduced to the world in 1960 with it's bold, simplistic and modern layout. It's been said by many musicians that the sound quality of this particular microphone is the best bang for the buck. Perfect for vocals, broadcasting and drums.

 As you can see in the pictures provided there are very small signs of wear. The satin chrome shows some very small pitting on the lower pistol grip and a couple scuff marks but very nice overall. The black plastic fittings have no cracks or fractures but there are lite scuffs. Mic is 100% solid.  No loose parts. The front screen shows no dents or tarnish.

 I put a new foam inner screen inside the elements housing as these always degrade with age. I'm one of the only sellers who bothers to do this and it makes a big difference reducing the dreaded "pop" from breath and singing close to the mic.

 She certainly sounds as good she looks. The threading for the cable and stand work perfectly. This mic takes a standard 4 pin screw on cable which is not included but I do have a couple for sale in my Ebay store and these cables are easy to come by as there are a few other sellers on Ebay. 

 The on / off switch works perfectly and slides smooth. The joint mechanism holds strong. Overall a very nice looking mic that's far above average for a 50 year old microphone and an easy 8 on a scale of 1 - 10. 

 This is truly one of the best sounding dynamic cardioid mics you can buy for the money...top notch!
