A Montblanc model 264 manufactured in West Germany in the 1950s or very early 1960s at the latest. The pen has the stylings of the period: the Montblanc imprint on the cap, the ski slope feed, and the monotone 14C 585 gold nib with less ornate pattern. The 'B' and '264' are clearly imprinted into the end of the pen.

The pen features a flexible 14k gold broad nib. The system is a piston filler tested with distilled water. The pen is beautiful writer and puts down lovely broad line.

The pen is in excellent condition with little signs of use, showing only light desk wear. The gold furniture is in excellent condition. The ink window is very clear and light. Difficult to see in the photograph is the lovely cream color the Montblanc peak has taken on over time, very common in older pens.
