I do try to write the descriptionsas I would want them to be written as a buyer. I examine the items verycarefully and then try to describe any types of post-manufacturing flaws, suchas chips, cracks, scratches, or stains that I may find. I really try todescribe or photograph any pre-manufacturing irregularities, but because theseare not considered flaws, I could very easily accidently and inadvertentlyoverlook something that someone else may consider as important.
Please examine all of the photographs very carefully as they are likely to bethe biggest and most efficient part of the items actual description. Please beaware that any vintage handmade glass is not always going to be perfect asoften times it was not even perfect when it was originally manufactured wayback then. Sometimes glass may contain bubbles or tool marks, or crimping inthe glass and it may also be different in sizes, or all of the pieces in anygiven set might not even be totally uniform. This happens with vintage glassitems. Vintage linens are considered as used linens and they may have randomscarce pulled threads or possibly some inconsistent yellowing. Vintage chinamay have scratches or possibly have places where the glaze was missed or hasbecome worn due to aging.
The most important factor is that if you are concerned in any way, shape, orform about any item's condition whatsoever then please always make sure to askme about the item before you make a bid or buy anything. I will always be happyto answer any and all of your questions and concerns. SHIPPING TIMES:
I will ship within 3 business days of receiving a cleared payment. If you needan item sooner, please let me know and I will expedite the shipping, ifpossible. Usually the shipping will occur on the very next day in most allcases. The 3 day declaration is merely only a buffer of protection so that younever feel like that you have been misled because as we all know – sometimes inlife ‘stuff happens’ that just cannot be helped.
SHIPPING CHARGES:
I use eBay's Calculated Shipping System. I determine the box size and theweight and add in insurance and tracking AND then eBay calculates the cost toship the item(s). Then I physically go to the local post office and alwaysundoubtedly wind up adding more money out of my own pocket for the shippingcosts because I under estimate on the eBaY calculating system because I tryvery hard to not pass on unnecessarily high costs of shipping to you.
If you are purchasing more than oneitem then combined shipping does apply but ONLY if you ask me (( YOU MUSTMESSAGE ME AND ASK FOR IT )) The reason is that I may not notice that the sameperson has bought more than one item when the shipping labels get printed. Ihave printed and shipped as many as 25 items in one day and with those numbers,it is difficult to catch multiple purchases to one.

eBay/PayPal charges a final valuefee of 15-20% on, not only shipping, but tax, too!?! Additional expenses:packaging, delivering the item to the shipper, actual shipping cost (FedEx justraised their charges 5%) including insurance, and if media or international,waiting in line at USPS for 15-45 minutes. Therefore, if the shippinglooks a little high, I never see 15-20% of what I ask for.
eBay has recently begun a"defects, return" requirement. Which states that only so manyreturns (whether for a defect or not) will be allowed a seller, per year. When combined with eBay's rule allowing a buyer to return for no reasonat all, this is a recipe for disaster. Liberal returns, will no longer beconsidered by sellers. Now buyers will not have the return guarantees, and thesellers will be sanctioned, for allowing too many returns. Therefore,eBay has, once again, promulgated rules which do not help either the buyer orseller, and only make both buyers and sellers look for alternative sites. Buyers are still covered, if the item materially differs from the description.
