HERE'S AN OUTSTANDING WORK TRUCK.  IT'S NOT YOUR TYPICAL F250 WHERE THEY GET A REGULAR TRUCK, REMOVE THE PICKUP BED AND INSTALL AN 8 FOOT UTILITY BODY.  THIS IS A FULL HEAVY DUTY ONE TON, ORDERED AS A COMMERCIAL CAB AND CHASSIS, AND MOUNTED WITH A NINE FOOT HARBOR HD SERVICE BODY.  IT IS LONGER THAN A NORMAL PICKUP.  SIX SIDE DOORS WITH TWO FULL LENGTH FLIP UP TOOL BOXES ON TOP.  HD TRAILER TOW VEHICLE.  

AS COMMERCIAL BODY TRUCKS GO, THIS RIG HAS HAD A MUCH EASIER LIFE THAN MOST.  IT HAS SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE AS A SINGLE CAR TRAILER TOW VEHICLE TO DELIVER HIGH END VEHICLES AROUND THE WEST COAST.  BECAUSE IT WENT LONG DISTANCES, THE SERVICE BODY WAS USED TO STORE EVERY POSSIBLE TYPE OF TIE DOWN, TOOLS, TIRE CHANGING EQUIPMENT, DETAILING PRODUCTS, WHEEL BEARINGS AND GREASE, AND LOTS OF TOOLS.  NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TRAILER, WE COULD REPAIR IT ON THE ROAD.  DRIVEN MOSTLY AT 55-62 MPH.  

BECAUSE ITS AN F350 ONE TON, IT HAS THE STRONGEST 5.4 INTERCEPTOR V8 WITH TRANSMISSION SHIFT POINTS SER UP FOR HIGHER RPM SHIFTS UNDER LOAD, AND HAS A SPECIAL FEATURE THAT LOCKS UP THE TORQUE CONVERTER IN SECOND GEAR, AS WELL AS THIRD AND OVERDRIVE, WHEN CLIMBING STEEP GRADES.  KEEPS THE TRANSMISSION COOL ON STEEP HILLS.  IT ALSO HAS A TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE GAUGE.  THIS TRUCK WILL TOW ANYTHING ANYWHERE.  THIS WAS MY FIRST GAS TRUCK, I USED DIESELS FOR YEARS BEFORE. BUT THIS TIME I WENT FOR GAS AND IT ACTUALLY PULLS BETTER THAN MY 7.3 DIESELS DID.  ALSO HAS HD BRAKES, SUSPENSION AND DIFFERENTIAL.  3:55 GEARS ALLOW LOW RPM CRUISING, WHICH SAVES FUEL.  

THE TRUCK HAS ALWAYS BEEN KEPT VERY CLEAN, DUE TO THE TYPE OF CLIENT WE SERVED.  IT ISN'T FANCY BUT IT IS MUCH CLEANER THAN MOST, INSIDE AND OUT.  NO MAJOR WEAR SPOTS.  NOT A DROP OF FLUID EVER LEAKS OUT.  TOTALLY DRY AND RUST FREE UNDERNEATH. TIRES ARE SUPER HD AND HAVE ABOUT 50% TREAD.  THIS TRUCK DOESN'T WEAR THE FRONT TIRES UNEVENLY THE WAY THAT MANY LIGHTER DUTY F250 FORDS DO.  WE GET ABOUT 80,000 MILES PER SET.    

I AM NOT AWARE OF ANY SERVICE OR PROBLEM THAT NEEDS ATTENTION. JUST DROVE IT ON A CROSS CALIFORNIA TOW.  USED ALMOST NO OIL, GOT 12.8 MPG, HAULING A  LOADED CAR TRAILER. IT HAS NEVER BROKEN DOWN FOR ANY REASON.  ALWAYS GETS YOU HOME.  A FEW MONTHS AGO, IT GOT A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WARNING. ONE OXYGEN SENSOR HAD FAILED, BUT  I REPLACED ALL FOUR, SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT ISSUE AGAIN.  WE RUN SYNTHETIC 5W30 OIL AND CHANGE AT 7,500 MILE INTERVALS.  HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT FOGGY AND ARE PROPERLY AIMED. IT HAS A BIG 36 GALLON FUEL TANK SO YOU CAN GO MUCH FARTHER BETWEEN FILL UPS.  

CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME, CURRENTLY CALIFORNIA REGISTERED.  FRESH SMOG CERTIFICATE.   THE ONLY THING IT NEEDS THAT I KNOW OF IS WIPER BLADES.  I TRUST IT TOTALLY AND LOVE DRIVING IT.  I AM RETIRING AND JUST SOLD THE LAST CAR TRAILER.  I HAVE AN OLDER F250 REGULAR PICKUP I CAN USE AND DON'T NEED THE BIG UTILITY BOX ANY MORE.
