BMW Limited slip differential Billet steel cap for 188mm OEM LSD
All of you who wish to upgrade Limited slip differential to maximal clutch capacity will need custom made reinforced differential cap in order to fit 4/6/8 clutch pack.
By adding more clutches to your differential you will improve its performance. You will gain:
more durability
more strength
more heat resistance
more longevity
When you are adding 4 clutch kit, reinforced steel cap is required because grinding of original one is very risky and unsafe method. When you grind original cap to fit 4th clutch pack you remove all hardened metal layer so it becomes very weak and probably will break.
Our clutches are Molybdenum-Ceramics coated with high grip surface for improved friction coefficient. They can be purchased separately , just send us inquiry.
The billet steel cap is for gear ratios from 2.65-3.07.

The cap is highly recommended for drift and all racing applications. It has proven itself in various drift cars in Europe.
