Clutch plates are perforated for improved cooling and heat resistance.
Molybdenum - Ceramic friction layer ensures much higher longevity than OEM plates.
Billet steel cap - a must have upgrade!
Breaking of standard differential cap is a problem that happens all the time, especially on higher HP engines.
So this reinforced steel cap is permanent solution. By installing this you will avoid cap breaking for good.
Cap is made from the high-grade tool steel hardened and nitrated for the best possible resistance and longevity.
Reinforced bolts won't suffer the internal stripping problem of the originals which is very important when rebuilding.
Preload shim set
It is always good to change Preload shims as they loose spring rate in time, so your differential looses performance. Our Preload shim set is brand new!
Ramp Saver shim (washer) is perfect solution if you have damaged pressure plates from previous clutches.
If you decided to rebuild/upgrade your LSD unit and realized your previous clutches made damage to flat surface of your ramps (pressure plates), it is not recommended to leave it like that. Ramp saver plate will help you to resolve problem and return your differential to original or higher performance. It can also be used to increase preload in racing applications.
While your differential is out from the car, you may consider replacing bearings and oil seals as well:
