OUR OE FUEL PUMP IS COMPAITABLE WITH UP TO 10% (E-10) OF ETHANOL BUT....
IT IS BEST TO USE FUEL WITH NO ETHANOL IN IT.

ANSWER: THEN STOP USING FUEL WITH ANY ETHANOL IN IT!

THEY WILL NEVER TELL YOU THIS BUT
ETHANOL EATS AWAY AT THIN RUBBER AND THIN PLASTIC.
FUEL WITH ETHANOL IN IT WAS NOT MADE FOR YOUR SMALL ENGINE.

CHEVRON FUEL STATIONS TO NAME A FEW, AS WELL AS MANY OTHERS. 
LOOK AT THE PUMP HANDEL! 
IT SHOWS RIGHT ON IT! IT WILL TELL YOU IF IT IS E-10, E-15, E-30 OR E-85
E-85 IS JUST WHAT IT MEANS! 85% ETHANOL!!!!
YOUR FUEL PUMP WONT LAST BUT A COUPLE OF 
MONTHS AT MOST IF YOU PUT THAT E-85 IN IT!!!


HERE IS THE (2.) THING...

WATCH OUT FOR THE CHINA LOOK-A-LIKE FUEL PUMPS!


THERE ARE FUEL PUMPS OUT THERE THAT LOOK ALMOST 
IDENTICAL TO THE OE ONE YOU SEE HERE FOR YOUR ENGINE.

THEM DEFECTIVE FAKES WILL NOT WORK RIGHT AND I 
SERIOUSLY MEAN THAT MOST DO NOT EVEN WORK AT ALL!!!
 LOOK AT THE 3RD, 4TH AND 5TH PHOTOS TO SEE WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT!
THEIR INTERNAL COMPONETS ARE NOT MADE RIGHT!

1. THE DIAPRAGM IS TOO SMALL AROUND! IT DOES NOT SIT INTO THE RESSESED AREA OF 
WHERE IT SHOULD SIT. THIS CAUSES IT TO BE TOO TIGHT! IF IT IS TOO 
TIGHT THEN IT (THE DIAPHRAGM) CANNOT FLUCTUATE BACK 
AND FORTH TO PUMP THE FUEL!

2. EVEN IF THEY DID ACIDENTLY MAKE THE DIAPHRAGM THE RIGHT SIZE, IT STILL WOULD NOT 
WORK RIGHT BECAUSE THEY DID NOT MAKE THE BRASS BREATHER VENT WITH
 THE RIGHT AIR FLOW TO ALLOW FOR THE DIAPHRAGM TO BE ABLE TO 
FLUCTUATE BACK AND FORTH TO PUMP THE FUEL!!!

3. THE MATERIAL THAT THEY USED TO MAKE THE DIAPHRAGM IS NOT MADE OF THICK 
RUBBER AND THE SPRING THEY USED TO PUSH THE DIAPHRAGM BACK WAS 
MADE TO STIFF SO THAT IT WILL NOT ALLOW THE ENGINES PISTON TO 
MAKE THE MOVEMENT OF WHAT THE DIAPHRAGM NEEDS IN 
ORDER TO PUMP THE FUEL!!! 
THEY ARE ALL AROUND MADE WRONG!!!

WITH SOME OF THESE NOT WORKING CORRECTLY OR IF EVEN AT ALL, THEN IT 
WILL WEAR OUT YOUR STARTER MOTOR FASTER AND 
SHORTEN THE LIFE OF YOUR BATTERY!


LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PHOTOS OF THIS LISTING!

THAT FAKE FUEL PUMP YOU SEE IN THE LAST FEW PHOTOS WAS FROM SOMEONE WHO 
BOUGHT/MADE A PRIOR PURCHASE ELSWHERE AND THEN FOUND IT TO NOT WORK.
THEY THEN MADE A PURCHASE FROM US AND TRIED TO DO A 
RETURN OF THE FAKE ONE TO US TO GET THE LARGER REFUND. 
LITTLE DID THEY KNOW THAT TO THE TRAINED EYE THERE IS A 
TINY DIFFERENCE FROM THE OE FUEL PUMP FROM THE FAKE ONES.
WE CANNOT SHOW WHAT THAT IS, OTHERWISE THEY WILL 
ONLY THEN TRY TO MAKE THAT LITTLE CORRECTION IN THE 
FUTURE TO WHERE IT WILL BE EVEN MORE DIFFICULT FOR 
US TO NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE WITHOUT HAVING TO TAKE IT APART.

AS FOR THEM, THEY WERE REPORTED, THERE WAS NO REFUND GIVEN AND 
THEY WERE THEN BLOCKED FROM EVER TRYING TO 
MAKE ANY FUTURE PURCHASES FROM US!

THE BOTTOM-LINE IS.... 

HAS CHINA MADE ANYTHING AT ALL TO LAST OR TO 
REALLY BENIFIT ANY OF US HERE IN THE USA?

THIS OE FUEL PUMP....

THAT YOU SEE HERE IN THE PHOTOS IS THE POLY RESIN FIBER (NOT CHEAP PLASTIC) FUEL PUMP WITH 
THICKER (NOT THIN) PIT LINER RUBBER DIAPHRAGM. 
THIS OE FUEL PUMP WAS MADE TO BE SERVICEABLE.
DESIGNED SO THAT YOU CAN CAREFULLY TAKE IT 
APART TO CLEAN IT IF NEEDED. 

THIS ALSO COMES WITH TINY RUBBER CAPS COVERING THE INLET, OUTLET AND 
VACUUM PORTS TO KEEP INSECTS FROM 
GETTING INSIDE TO RUIN THE DIAPHRAGM DURING STORAGE. 

THAT IS JUST ANOTHER PREVENTATIVE MEASURE TAKEN SO THAT

STEP BY STEP TROUBLESHOOTING 
BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE!

ONLY A CERTIFIED MECHANIC SHOULD ATTEMPT TO DO ANY
OF THE TROUBLESHOOTING MENTIONED BELOW.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PLENTY OF FUEL IN YOUR GAS TANK THAT YOUR ENGINE IS 
ATTACHED TO, NOW PULL THE FUEL LINE FROM THE FUEL PUMP AND 
PUT IT INTO A CLEAR QUART JAR AND LOWER IT TO THE GROUND. 
NOW TURN ON YOUR SHUT OFF VALVE, IF YOU HAVE NO FREE-FLOW OF FUEL THEN IT 
IS SAFE TO SAY THAT THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE GAS TANK LIKE GRASS, 
LEAVES OR DEBRIS STOPING THE FUEL FLO. 
THIS SHOULD GIVE YOU AN INDICATION THAT YOU MAY NOT NEED A FUEL PUMP. 
NOW IF YOU LOOSEN YOUR GAS TANKS FUEL CAP JUST A LITTLE AND 
BLOW SOME AIR INTO THE FUEL LINE GOING BACK TO THE FUEL TANK AND 
THEN PUT THE HOSE BACK INTO THE QUART JAR AND LOWER IT TO THE 
GROUND AGAIN AND YOU NOW HAVE FUEL FLOW THEN YOU KNOW THAT YOU 
NEED TO REMOVE THE FUEL TANK TO CLEAN IT OUT. 
WHY? BECAUSE WHATEVER IT WAS IS GOING TO FLOAT BACK INTO 
THE WAY AGAIN IF YOU DONT CLEAN IT OUT. 
LET'S SAY YOU HAD FUEL FLOW AFTER LOWERING THE LINE TO THE GROUND IN THE FIRST PLACE. 
THEN YOU NEED TO BLOW THROUGH THE FUEL PUMP ON THE INLET PORT. 
IF YOU CAN'T BLOW THROUGH IT THEN REMOVE THE LINE FROM THE 
FUEL PUMP THAT GOES DIRECTLY TO THE CARBURETOR. 
NOW TRY TO BLOW THROUGH THAT HOSE GOING IN TO THE CARBURETOR. 
IF YOU STILL CAN'T, THEN YOU KNOW THAT THERE IS 
SOMETHING PLUGGED IN THE NEEDLE SEAT THAT IS INSIDE OF THE CARBURETOR. 
SOMETHING IS STOPPING THAT FLOW. 
REMOVE THE CARBURETOR AND TAKE IT TO A PROFESSIONAL TO HAVE IT SERVICED. 
IF YOU ARE A CERTIFIED MECHANIC THEN TAKE THE CARBURETOR APART YOURSELF AND 
REMOVE THE FLOAT BOWL AND NEEDLE FROM THE NEEDLE SEAT. 
NOW ATTACH AN AIR HOSE TO THE NEEDLE SEAT WHERE YOU PULLED THE NEEDLE OUT OF AND 
BLOW BACK THROUGH IT WITH AN AIR HOSE. 
IT SHOULD HAVE NOW BLOWN OUT WHATEVER IT WAS THAT PLUGGED IT UP. 
NOW REASSEMBLE THE CARBURETOR IN THE SAME MANNER IT WAS TAKEN APART AND 
TRY TO BLOW BACK INTO THE CARBURETOR FROM THE 
INLET PORT GOING IN TO THE CARBURETOR. YOUR PROBLEM SHOULD NOW BE SOLVED. 
NOW WHAT YOU NEED TO DO FROM YOUR FUEL TANK TO YOUR 
ENGINES CARBURETOR IS MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS ASSEMBELED IN THIS ORDER...
CLEAR FUEL LINE FROM 
GAS TANK PORT-to-FUEL SHUT OFF VALVE-to-FUEL FILTER-to-CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-FUEL PUMP-to-
CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-CARBURETOR. 
NOW EVEN IF YOUR TRACTOR, GENERATOR, WELDER OR WHATEVER YOUR 
ENGINE IS ON DID NOT COME WITH A SEDIMENT BOWL ON IT THEN 
LISTEN CLOSELY TO A PROFESSIONAL THAT IS HERE TO 
SAVE YOU MONEY/TIME AND A LATER HEADAKE!!! DO THIS.....
FUEL TANK-to-CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-SEDIMENT BOWL-to-CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-FUEL FILTER-to-
CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-FUEL PUMP-to-CLEAR FUEL LINE-to-CARB.!!!! 
WHY DO I SAY A SEDIMENT BOWL THAT WAS NEVER ON YOUR ITEM THAT YOUR ENGINE IS ON? 
ANSWER: A SEDIMENT BOWL PUT IN A VISUAL PLACE WHERE YOU CAN SEE IT WILL 
CATCH THAT WATER/CONDINSATION THAT 
SOMEHOW MADE ITS WAY INTO YOUR FUEL FROM THE GAS STATION! 
THIS IS BECAUSE WATER IS HEAVIER THAN GASOLINE. 
THAT GLASS SEDIMENT BOWL WILL CATCH THAT (VERY LITTLE AMOUNT) OF 
WATER IN THAT BOWL SO IT DOES NOT MAKE ITS 
WAY THROUGH EVERYTHING ELSE TO GET INTO YOUR CARBURETOR AND RUIN ITS COMPONETS! 
THAT IN ITSELF IS BAD FOR EVERYTHING BUT NOW IMAGINE IF YOU ARE A PERSON THAT LIVES IN THE 
NORTHERN PART OF THE COUNTRY AND DEAL WITH FRIDGID COLD WINTERS,
NOW YOU HAVE WATER FROZE UP IN YOUR CARBURETOR, FUEL PUMP, FUEL FILTER AND GAS TANK!!!!  
NOTHING WILL STOP FROZEN WATER FROM BUSTING YOUR 
COMPONETS IN ANYTHING ONCE IT FREEZES UP!!!!
