This is a bid for an HO-scale slot car with running chassis. It was made by Johnny Lightning / Playing Mantis, copyright 2002. The chassis is a reproduction of an Aurora Thunderjet 500 chassis.

The body is a '70 Chevy Chevelle SS. 

The body & chassis are like new, I don't think this car has ever seen a lap on the track.

The chassis is bench-tested, the gears mesh smoothly and the motor runs strong.
