A friend's uncle passed away recently at the age of 91. I'm helping them liquidate the estate. He was a collector of electronics, trains, mics, audio and radio stuff...decades of collecting. A WWII vet in Japan and a electrical engineer he had many interesting facets. He purchased his first home in Vancouver, WA in November of 2017 and was planning on moving in spring of 2018. He was going to have all of his collections out to show off and use. A train shop. A music room and a room to dink on his numerous electronics, but instead he passed. We are selling most of his collections to help out family members.  There are lots of audio and radio tubes, vintage HiFi, vintage radio and test gear, and other audio/electronics odds and ends. Check out the other auctions now and future. Today we have:

A single RCA 5Z3 tube.

This tube was tested with my calibrated Jackson 648. It tests:
97% / 101%

As any tube buyer should know, every tester will test tubes in slightly different ways. So I can only attest to what my tester reads. Your tester may read different values.

Tube is sold AS-IS AS SHOWN as it's over 50 years old.

Shipping will be USPS general mail. If buyer would rather have double-boxed, tracked and insured flat rate box, please let me know after auction close and I will add $10 (or more if value more than $50) to invoice for tracked and insured flat rate box.

To prevent fraudulent returns, tubes will be marked and photographed. If tubes are returned and do not have the identical markings I applied and do not match the photographs, A FRAUD REPORT WILL BE FILED and RETURN will be REFUSED.

Markings can be removed with Magic Eraser sponge available at any grocery or home store.
