VINTAGE БПВ BPV 7x50 RUSSIAN SOVIET USSR BINOCULARS & CASE BY ZOMZ ЗОМЗ - INDIVIDUAL EYEPIECE FOCUS

You are buying a pair of vintage USSR 7x50 БПВ BPV binoculars which have individual eyepiece focusing, as often used in military binoculars. These binoculars are well made by Zomz, the renowned manufacturers of opto-mechanical goods in Zagorsk, and in good usable condition. The optics are perfectly sharp, bright and clear. The individual eyepiece focusing works perfectly. Cosmetically these binoculars are good with signs of age and use and slight powdery patches from the alloy body. They are marked with the БПВ brand name and ЗОМЗ logo printed in Russian characters on the all metal body. Amazing bright and very sharp image with a comfortable 7 times magnification and big 50mm objective lenses. There are big chunky rubber lens protectors at the objective lens end. The leather case is in poor condition with the lid detached and missing. The case has an adjustable leather shoulder/neck strap. Robustly made... weighing nearly 1.5kg. Considered to be among the best of Russian binoculars.
