When you receive your pouffe you may notice a distinct scent. This is normal and occurs during the oiling process. Any smell will fade away in a few weeks
Items are sent unfilled to save on postage – they are easy to fill, with old cloth, can be filled with a variety of different materials depending on what you have available and the kind of finish you wish to achieve. The pouffe is a versatile creature and can be filled with almost anything, from polystyrene balls to old clothing and fabrics. It is an eco-friendly way to use up materials you may have stored at home which are waiting to be recycled. Your local furniture upholsterer should also be able to sell you some suitable stuffing if necessary.
