Japanese Kinchaku bag for use when wearing Kimono...

This is one of a huge lot of ‘vintage' Japanese bags that we have acquired. They were stock from a shop in Kyoto that sold kimono accessories… Most were produced in the 1980’s but some are newer...

This bag may have been used but is in near-perfect condition with no stains or issues of any kind. It is made of elegant purple rayon fabric in a floral pattern. It has a stiffened bottom and black cord ties. It is fully lined in purple rayon with a similar floral pattern and very nicely sewn.

It measures about:
