My name is Eran Di Capri and I'm a full-time artist. Please accept my personal thanks for looking at my artwork and consider collecting my art and buy my painting. Now, let me tell you a little bit more about myself...

About the artist:

“At the age of six, my parents bought me my first colouring book. The first drawings I made were posted on my bedroom walls as my first exhibition. One summer’s weekend, when my grandparents came to visit from Italy, they bought all of my exhibited paintings and I made my first $20, which I put into a small wooden box. I thought it would be fun to bury it in the backyard… I still can’t find it…”

Originally from Israel, Eran spent his childhood nourishing his love for art by applying his self-taught approach to drawing and photography. Pursuing art throughout his academic life at the School of Arts in Jerusalem, Eran applied his second love for photography into his artistic ventures. In his work, you can immediately notice that the foundation of his artwork originates from the relationship between art and photography. His paintings are based on his photography skill and love for realism.

“I wanted to try and create a link between the reality captured by the camera and the freedom I have on my blank canvas. I’m exploring how brushstrokes can stimulate feelings and emotions within a person, the different meanings each brushstroke has and the ability to create a certain response from the viewer.”

Today, Eran runs his own studio in London and works towards establishing his first Art Gallery.

Certificate of authenticity:

I issue a certificate of authenticity with all my originals. This document certifies that the artwork you purchase is a unique and original work directly from my studio. Framing service:

Framing is the finishing touch that makes a work of art look complete. Frame design encompasses so much more than simply putting a frame around your picture. The size, colour, texture, and style all work together to enhance your artwork, while simultaneously complementing your unique personality and style. But the quality of the materials used will work to ensure that you will be enjoying your art for many years to come. When thinking about how to frame something, keep in mind, your art piece will always look its best if it is framed for the art and not for the room it will be going in. The decor of the room may change over time or you may decide to move the piece of art one day.

I have long-standing relationships with some of the best framing studios in London. My aim is to bring you a customised solution that complements your interiors and enhance your artwork. Should you require framing service, I will be happy to work with step by step so you can make the right choice for you.

Thinking of commissioning:

Looking for a specific piece of work for your home or office or a special gift – why not think of commissioning a piece?

Have you seen an artwork you like but it has already been sold? Or perhaps you like something but it is a bit too small, too large or too expensive? Or you like to have a piece of art that has a personal meaning. Then why not think of getting a commission made especially for you.

It is a general view that commissioning work is more expensive than a piece that already exists, but this is not necessarily so, commissioning work can be fun and couldn't be simpler! Often, art commissioners believe that to produce a unique painting or drawing is going to cost the earth. It isn’t. As a matter of fact, I think art should be affordable for everybody, so you don’t need to be an art expert or a millionaire to enjoy and buy art.

I'm always happy to take commissions for new artwork. Keep in mind, I won't be able to make an exact copy of a work that already exists, but I can use it as inspiration for something that you will love.

If you have any more questions about commissioning a piece or you already have an idea in mind, please contact me and I would love to help you.

General enquiries:

I am interested in commissioning a piece of art via eBay but have never done so. Where do I begin?

Commissioning art is a fun and unique experience. No matter if you are a first-time art buyer or an art collector, I’m here to make the process easy and enjoyable. If you have any idea or special requirements, send me a message and we can discuss the next steps.

How much will it cost to commission an artwork?

Commissioned pieces are priced based on the size, medium, and complexity of the piece. I always like to keep my prices affordable so don't hesitate to share with me what you have on your mind.

Do I pay for commissioned artwork before or after the piece is complete? May I return a piece I've commissioned?

After we have agreed on the terms and condition, I will list your commission on eBay and you would have to follow eBay payment process as you usually do when purchasing items on eBay. This assures that I’ll be paid for my time and materials. Once the piece is complete, I will send you a high-resolution image of the work. If you accept it, we discuss framing option. If for some reason you are not entirely satisfied when you receive the image, we can work together to make some changes. You are also eligible for 30 days return from the moment you’ve received your piece.

How long does it take to commission an artwork?

The time will vary depending on the size, medium, complexity of the piece, and my personal schedule, but typically commissions can take up to 3 months to accomplish.

When commissioning an artwork, what kind of contact will I have with you?

Once the payment has been made, I will start work on your piece as soon as I can, I will update you as the piece progresses from initial sketch to finished masterpiece. I’m always available to answer questions about your piece and the process, and we can always arrange a meeting or phone call along the way.

If you have more questions regarding my artwork or commissions please don't hesitate to ask.
