Like they were made in '59, the Texas Bluesman pickups are handcrafted with larger diameter alnico 5 pole pieces, and the coils are scatter wound with heavy build magnet wire. The slightly larger diameter rod magnets give these pickups lots of percussive spank with a little more output. The middle pickup is reversed for humbucking in the 2 and 4 positions, and the bridge pickup is overwound for increased bass response.
