Up for auction at the Grand Antique Mall located in Cincinnati, Ohio is a Large Antique Ship's Wheel created by the American Engineering Company of Philadelphia, PA.  Wood construction with decorative inlay. Brass plate engraved: American Engineering  Company Philadelphia, PA. Fitted with eight spokes. Fine restoration with the addition of a brass pedestal. Circa: 1875.


Established in 1868, American Engineering Company was a  consolidation of Williamson Brothers Company of Philadelphia, established 1865, with American Ship Windlass Company, formerly of Providence, R.I., established 1857.
