This listing is for a black Asahi Pentax "AP" 35mm SLR camera (s/n 136665) with 58mm f/2 Takumar lens (s/n 138498).
- Excellent cosmetic condition showing only light, average signs of use - see photos. The camera has a light amount of brassing and a beautiful patina. Please note the engraving (a SSN?) on the underside of the lens mount.
- Shutter is firing but more often than not the second curtain does not close all the way. The speeds to not appear to be accurate. The camera will need a CLA to be useable.
- Film/shutter advance is smooth.
- Viewfinder is bright and clear.
- All other functions of the camera appear to be working properly.
- 58mm Takumar lens is also in Excellent cosmetic condition showing average signs of use and age - see photos
- Glass is overall clean. There are a couple very small internal fungus spots, an average amount of dust, and a light amount of haze.
- Aperture blades stop down properly but do have some oil.
- Focus is smooth.
- Front oem front cap included.
