This is a decent WW2 helmet with an “S” marked front seam shell with original finish and an original liner. I did the following:-sewed original WW2 chinstraps to the shell bales. A nice person on eBay sells original straps with a T44 hook. I removed the T44 hook and added a wire hook.
-transplanted original WW2 webbing from a Firestone liner that was crushed into a CAPAC shell that had rotted webbing.

This is a sturdy helmet and liner for reanacting, military vehicle display or cosplay. Rare shell too. It displays well.
