Stainless A2-70 G304

This is a basic alloy. It cannot be heat hardened and is also non-magnetic. While this grade of stainless steel won’t rust, it will tarnish and has a strong resistance to the effect of various chemicals and acids.
Please be aware there are inconsistencies with thread lengths with STAINLESS socket head cap screw product, specifications for this listing have been taken from DIN912 and as such we recommend they should be used as a guide only, we have found variations exist at the point when the thread length on the product is supposed to change from fully threaded to part thread, part shank, the lengths affected are generally the sizes within the 25 - 45mm long range
Due to our volume our stock is sourced from various manufacturers, therefore differences may also exist between batches such as visible stamped head markings, and the head of the screw may not have knurls
Socket screws are uniformly threaded screws, meaning they maintain the exact same diameter throughout the entire length of the threaded section of the fastener, unlike wood or chipboard screws which have tapered threads
Socket screws can be used to fasten components together by passing the socket screw through the parts and then threading it into the rearmost component
