Sale is for one 3D printed GPS Tower that fits the Yuneec Typhoon H. Includes 2 pieces (base and  cover) with moulding tape adhesive applied.

Originally developed to correct an issue people were having when using alternate batteries with the Typhoon H.
Later it was found to also help with many other issues the Typhoon H currently has when not using this GPS adapter.

No longer printed in carbon fiber. The carbon fiber was becoming to difficult to source reliable quality materials for the 3D printing process. This part is now high gloss black, no longer grey.

Finds satellites faster on startup, locates more satellites, more stable hovering, eliminates error "calibrate compass land now"

It is the highest the tower can go while still able to fit in the backpack. You can install this once and never need to remove it again.

Before I talk about drilling a hole in your to cover. I'll mention that for $8.99 you can buy a brand new top cover from vertigodrones.com plus $6.99 shipping. If you would want to go back to no longer having a GPS Tower you can easily and cheaply do it.....   But, I am pretty sure you wont want to go back to flying without it. LOL

Anyway, you will need to remove 10 1.5mm Allen head screws. And, you will need to drill 1 hole 5/16 in a location under where this adapter will mount. Installation Video on YouTube. Link below.

The adapter includes everything you will need accept the tools 1.5mm Allen wrench, plus a drill and 5/16th drill bit. The adapter has 2 pieces of body molding tape attached ready to use to secure it into position.

Many have issue while flying they receive error "Land and Calibrate Compass". With this MOD you will no longer see this error again.

Also if you decide to use alternative batteries.... get the Battery Adapter MOD that I also sell here.

Unless you have this GPS Tower installed some alternate batteries would have this compass calibration issue.

But, not anymore...

I pride myself for fast delivery. I will get your package to the counter of USPS and have them scan it ASAP. You will be able to see your tracking updated to "in USPS possession" right away. I am also Centrally located in the USA and near their major shipping hub.

If paid by 9am Central Time, I will get it to the post office by 4:30pm and your order will be in USPS sorting and transit that same day.  Many times even if order is made before 4pm I will ship it before 4:30pm but not always.

It will automatically combine shipping cost, only if you add the items you want (items from the same seller "me") to your shopping cart all at the same time. Now when you view your shopping cart, it will show the combined shipping cost prior to checking out. This will save you allot of money on shipping. Only works for sellers (like me)  who give the combined shipping cost option.

Question??? And answer???

I think something went wrong in the printing of my GPS Tower. I cannot mount the GPS inside, it is not level side to side. I'm including a couple photos so you can see this. I have included measurements on one of the photos showing the height difference.
the other two photos are from the sides, i know the cutout on the third pic is supposed to be there, allows room for the battery, etc. But, there should be a standoff that i can screw the GPS to, there is not. The fourth picture shows the condition of the standoffs. Only one has a visible hole to place a screw into.

I will need to add a note in the listing. There are several revisions of the GPS module that shipped from yuneec.

Those voids that you point out are areas where some versions of the modules have circuits in those areas.

This way the adapter is now universal and will fit all versions of yuneec GPS modules. It is ok to fasten the module minus that corner screw, since many GPS modules already do not use that screw.

Happy flying.
