Invented Out Of A Need: The decal kits were invented by our CEO who wanted cool looking decals for the thousands of slot cars that he owned. In the process of restoring, customizing, and building them he realized how poorly water slide decals adhered to the cars. They result were cars which had wrinkled, and faded decals. What was worse the decals would often fall off during handling, and he wanted to apply decals to molded door lines, cowl areas, and door seams.

After his poor experience, he knew there had to be a better way. He’d been in the printing and cutting industry for years and so set out to experiment with different polymers until he came up with the first decal sheet that simply worked. The result was UltraCal, a new line of decal sheets that were easy to apply, looked great the moment you installed them, and wouldn’t fade over time.
