Ty Beanie Babies introduced CLAUDE the crab in May 1997 with individual tye dye fabric. It was retired on December 31, 1998. Measures 9" across. Comes from a smoke free home. Has been stored away and never played with. The swing tag for this crab shows "Claude" in all caps. Handmade in China. Has a clear plastic tag protector. The tush tag date shows 1996 and has PVC pellets. Purchased in 1997 from the Fiesta Southwest retail store in Scottsdale Arizona by the owner for the owner's personal collection.
