We are delighted to offer this MidCentury Modern Italian Toucan bird from Licio Zanetti, a Murano Art Glass contemporary master. This sculpture features a smoke colored head and clear body. No other glass artist sculpts the toucan like Licio Zanetti whose execution of the toucan's beak is as perfect as it gets. From one of the most distinguished Murano glass families, Zanetti worked with the best of the best before coming into his own as an artist renowned for his bird sculptures as well as his engagement with many of the finest and world famous glass artists. The side of the piece has the Zanetti Murano sticker as well as the Vetri Murano sticker.This rare piece is gently used with minimal faint surface scratches. It measures approximately 9.25”high x 8.3” diameter from the tip of the beak to the end of the tail.
