The Dala Horse is a traditional carved, painted wooden horse statuette originating in Swedish province Dalarna (Dalecarlia).

In the old days the Dalecarlian horse was mostly used as a toy for children

but in modern times it has become a symbol of Dalarna, as well as Sweden in general.

You are welcome to choose between a delicate white opal color with grains of light pink and yellow and a lovely light blue opal color with grains of blue.

The Dala Horse pendant is loosely hanging on a sterling silver Box chain.
